New Year New Start! Are you ready?


First of all I would like to wish you a very happy and prosperous 2011.
I am excited about the year ahead, coaching some amazing clients, getting ready to present some more radio shows as well as writing for new US magazine Spizz.

TOP TIP: Did you know we think anything between 60 000-100 000 thoughts a day? Some good, some bad and some indifferent! A thought is only a thought until we focus on it. What we focus on we becomes our reality. Our thoughts create how we feel, how we feel determines what actions we take and the actions we take create our results. The next time you are feeling negative and unresourceful try this. Tune into what you are thinking and if your thoughts are negative then take a few moments to just stop, then just accept them for what they are... just thoughts... and let them pass! You will find that very quickly you will begin to feel better and therefore make better decisions and get better results. Do this often and it will become a habit!

3 Steps to get results and make 2011 your best year yet!

We have all at some point made new year resolutions that we have not kept, right? I thought as it is the beginning of the year I would share 3 simple steps that you can take to get results.

Step 1. Decide what you want to achieve. Brainstorm. Imagine you are sitting down a year from now looking back what do you want to have done? With whom? Who can help you along the way? Be Specific!
Choose your top 5 goals and write them down

Step 2. Get enough reasons WHY it is important for you to get the results that you want. This will create momentum for you to move forward. Remember you get what you focus on. Are you focusing on what you can do or what you cannot do. That will be your reality.

Step 3. Take action! Anything that you think about achieving will be just a dream, write it down and give it a deadline and it becomes a goal. Take consistent action and you can make it happen!
